To provide a display device for a vehicle which is easily assembled by preventing a light control member from being misassembled.
The display device for a vehicle is equipped with a light emission type information display unit 1 which projects information to be displayed as a display image D, the light control member 2 which limits the projection direction of the display image D to a fixed range, and a housing 3 which holds the information display unit 1 and light control member 2, and projects and displays the display image D emitted through the light control member 2 by using a combiner F, wherein a cut part 24 is provided at a prescribed position of the light control member 2 and the housing 3 is provided with a restriction part 39 which is formed in a shape corresponding to the cut part 24 and restricts the assembling direction of the light control member 2.
