Abstract:
To provide a display device which can maintain superior display performance over a long period.
This device is provided with an effective part 106 that is formed at the plate board main face 120A, and equipped with a plurality of pixels to display pictures, and a sealing body 300 arranged so as to cover at least the effective part 106 of the plate board main face 120A, and the sealing body 300 has a structure in which a buffer layer 311, and at least 2 layers of barrier layers 320 and 321 that have larger patterns than that of the buffer layer 311, and what is more, that coat the buffer layer 311, and a barrier layer 321 of at least one layer coats the barrier layer 320 arranged at that lower layer.
