Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device which allows an operator, for example, who is not aware of a hill start assist function, to grasp an operation state easily, when the hill start assist function operates.SOLUTION: A display device 1, which is mounted on a vehicle having a hill start assist function for maintaining a braked state temporarily even when a brake pedal is returned when a car is stopped on an uphill road, includes: a display 2 mounted on a vehicle; and display control means for performing control of the display. When a car is stopped on an uphill road in a state where the brake pedal is stepped and then the brake pedal is returned, the display control means displays the message that the hill assist function is in operation on the display in characters. Furthermore, the display control means, in a state where the hill start assist function is being operated, displays the message on the display in characters.
