Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device capable of reducing power consumption and having an improved opening ratio.SOLUTION: The display device comprises pixels each including a first sub-pixel and a second sub-pixel. The first sub-pixel includes a first coloured layer and a first transistor, and the second sub-pixel includes a second coloured layer and a second transistor. A portion of a semiconductor layer where a channel may be formed, at least respectively included by the first transistor and the second transistor, is arranged so as to overlap the first coloured layer. The first coloured layer tends to absorb shorter wavelength light in comparison with the second coloured layer. The semiconductor layer, an electrode and wiring, etc, which compose the transistor transmit visible light.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
