Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily adjust a distance at which a virtual image is visually recognized in a display device for enabling a user to visually recognize the virtual image.SOLUTION: A display device (10) displays a video in which a virtual image (112) is visually recognized. The display device comprises: a video generation part (109); a concave mirror (110); and a support mechanism (100). The video generation part generates video light showing a video. The concave mirror has a reflection surface (110a) for reflecting the video light made incident from the video generation part. A support mechanism supports the video generation part and the concave mirror such that the arrangement of the concave mirror in a first direction (y) orthogonal to a normal direction of the reflection surface is adjusted. The concave mirror has a first curvature radius in the first direction and a second curvature radius in a second direction (x) orthogonal to the first direction at each position on the reflection surface. The first and second curvature radiuses respectively change in accordance with the position in the first direction on the reflection surface at mutually different change ratios. The reflection surface of the concave mirror has a shape following an ellipsoidal body.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
