Abstract:
To provide a high-quality display device and a display device with a touch panel, which have accurate thicknesses designed, without using a particulate spacer, within a free range in accordance with characteristics of a used liquid crystal and a driving method.SOLUTION: A semiconductor device includes: a display device equipped with a first substrate, a second substrate, and multiple columnar spacers disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate; and a touch panel equipped with an optical detecting element. The columnar spacers can increase the mechanical strength to make the panel robust.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 22
