Abstract:
To ensure that high dynamic range image display can be performed well.SOLUTION: A display device includes a multimedia interface terminal that is a high-speed differential signal interface, a multimedia interface receiver including a TMDS channel in one direction, a high dynamic range processing circuit, a panel drive circuit, and a display panel. The display device receives a high dynamic range signal including high dynamic range image data from a transmission apparatus through a transmission path and the multimedia interface receiver, and receives information in an info-frame packet regarding gamma correction for the high dynamic range image data.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
