Abstract:
To provide a display device, with which operation of an operation target may be safely performed even while driving.SOLUTION: A HUD device 10, which is an example of a display device, displays a superimposed image visually recognized by a user as a virtual image that overlaps with a landscape in front of a vehicle. The HUD device 10 comprises a display control unit 31a that controls display of the superimposed image, a determining unit 31b that determines operation coordinates that indicate the position of the user's hand in a coordinate space in the vehicle, and a storage unit 32 that stores a device identification table T indicating an area which is within an area in the coordinate space and is set in a corresponding manner to a predetermined device in the vehicle. The display control unit 31a displays a superimposed image of a menu image for operating the predetermined device in a case where the operation coordinates are included in the area indicated by the device identification table T for a predetermined period or more.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
