Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To apply insect- and mothproofing treatment to displayed articles under the continuous display thereof as well as without any adverse effect thereon by installing a nitrogen gas generation device for feeding nitrogen gas to a display case.
SOLUTION: The air drawn into a nitrogen gas generation device B is pressurized with a compressor 1, and moisture and dust are removed therefrom with a dehumidifying and dust collecting filter 2. Then, the air is introduced to an adsorption bath 5a or 5b via the open/close operation of valves 4a and 4b, thereby adsorbing and removing oxygen gas. Also, residual nitrogen gas is reserved in a buffer tank 8. A valve 9 performs an open/close operation on the basis of the value of a nitrogen gas flow rate measured with a flow meter 11, thereby causing the nitrogen gas in the buffer tank 8 to flow by a suitable volume. Furthermore, the nitrogen gas after the flow meter 11 is separated into two systems. In this case, the nitrogen gas in one system remains in place, and the nitrogen gas in the other system passes a humidifier 13 and is mixed in a mixer 14. The nitrogen gas suitably humidified in the mixer 14 is fed to a display case A.
