Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve an appearance of transmitted illumination.SOLUTION: A display device includes: a translucent plate 30; a light source which transmittedly illuminates prescribed display regions W1 and W2 provided in the translucent plate 30; and a shield wall 21 which is in a cylindrical shape having an opening end 21b of a shape along a region boundary of the display regions W1 and W2, and which leads light of the light source disposed inside the cylinder to the display regions W1 and W2 while shielding it from leaking to the outside of the cylinder. Then, a light shield part 31, which shields light L2 transmitting in a plate face direction (the lateral direction in Fig. 5) in the translucent plate 30 from transmitting from inside of the display region W2 to the outside, is formed in the translucent plate 30. Thereby, it can be suppressed that the light L2 leaks from the display region W2 which is transmittedly illuminated to the adjacent display region W1 during lights out. Therefore, it can be suppressed that when the light source of the display region W2 is turned on, the adjacent display region W1 becomes dimly bright, thus, the appearance of the transmitted illumination can be improved.
