PURPOSE: To eliminate limits to the rotating angle and rotating number of a display screen and to improve operability and durability by providing a connecting part which optically transmits a signal between a display part and a fixed stand.

CONSTITUTION: A light emitting part 1 is circularly provided on the whole inner circumference of the upper part of the cylindrical fixing base 3. A light receiving part 2 is provided on the side of a rotating shaft provided on the lower part of the display part 4. A video signal and a synchronizing signal used for displaying on the display screen of the display part 4 are converted into a light signal 13 by a light emitting control circuit 11 and the light emitting part 1, propagated through space and reached to the light receiving part 2. The light signal 13 received in the light receiving part 2 is converted into an electrical signal and displayed on the display screen of the display part 4 by the control of a display timing generating circuit 15. Thereby, the limits to the rotating angle of the display screen of the display part 4 to the fixed stand 3 are eliminated, and durability and operability are improved.
