PURPOSE: To mount speaker device to a television receiver of a short height and to magnify low-frequency sound by reducing the whole height including a sound tube in the speaker device using the sound tube (a sound guide, a sound road).

CONSTITUTION: The sound road 2 provided in front of a speaker 3 and a back cabinet 6 provided at the back of the speaker 3 are parted and a part of a baffle 4 fitting the speaker 3 is made oblique so as to provide a bass-reflex port 5 in the middle of this oblique baffle 4a. Making the length L of the bass- reflex port 5 into a proper size and increasing the volume V of a back cabinet 6 by a volume (v) interdependently reduce the frequency of sound resonance and widens a band where the phases of a sound wave discharged from the bass-reflex port 5 and that discharged from the speaker 2 are coincident so as to magnify the low-frequency sound. Reducing the length L of the bass-reflex port 5 to be the proper size can reduce the height (h) of the bass-reflex port 5 and can reduce the whole height H of the speaker device 1 as the result.
