Abstract:
To provide a display liquid for an electrophoretic display device, which display liquid hardly gives rise to flocculation and provides a good contrast and stability.
The display liquid for the electrophoretic display device includes electrified particulates and a dispersion solvent, in which the electrified particulates are the particulates formed by wet crushing of a mixture containing a coloring agent and a resin. The ratio of the minor axis and major axis of the electrified particulates is 1:1.2 to 1:50. The microcapsules and electrophoretic display device using these are provided.
