Abstract:
To eliminate the situation in which a user of a multifunction telephone has difficulty in retrieving a menu that is conventionally selected from many menus being displayed on a large LCD of the telephone by scrolling these menus one row at a time.
Entire menus are divided into groups of menus each of which is displayed on a page. Moreover, the display screen is not changed while a menu is selected from a same page. Having used such a display menu selection method, changes on the display screen are limited to a minimum and the user more simply searches for a target menu.
