To provide the display method and system of a navigation system for searching and displaying population of objects.

This display method is to provide data search for detecting relative density of such objects as POI (Point of Interest) in a designated area and then display the search result. First magnitude and geometry of a search template 109 are specified, displacement of the position only by predefined increment is made to scan the search template on the search area 100, number of objects 103 on the search area 100 within the search template is counted and recorded for each increment of displacement position to prepare distribution matrix of the objects, distribution of the population of the objects is detected from this object distribution matrix, and then the population of the objects is displayed on the search area.
