Abstract:
To provide a display optical system that not only forms an optical path including a triple path, but is easily manufactured and advantageous for aberration correction.SOLUTION: A display optical system guides light from a display element ID to an observation side. The display optical system has: a first lens G1; a second lens G2 that has a second lens surface joined to a first lens surface of the first lens; a first optical functional surface HM1 that is provided on the first lens surface, reflects part of incident light, and transmits the rest of the light; and a second optical functional surface HM2 that is arranged closer to the observation side than the first optical functional surface, reflects the light incident from the first optical functional surface toward the first optical functional surface, and transmits the light reflected on the first optical functional surface. The first lens surface is an aspherical surface, and the second lens surface is a spherical surface. The first lens surface and the second lens surface have an adhesive layer AL therebetween.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
