To provide a display panel for a large-sized display device in which the panels are arrayed in matrix and joined with each other with shortened width of a join, and to provide the large-sized display device using the same.
Lateral wires 1 are formed on a front substrate 2. An input part 3 of a wire 1 is led around in an area 8 where a sealing part is formed and led out of the lower side of the front substrate 2, wherein the area 8 where the sealing part is formed is a non-display area part of a display panel and an area on the front surface 2 laminated on a back substrate 5 with a sealing material. The input part 3 led around up to the lower side is led out of the lower side of the back substrate 5. Consequently, a portion of the input part 3 is formed on the back substrate 5 and the front substrate 2 and back substrate 5 are electrically connected through a through hole 9 by being laminated together.
