Abstract:

To provide a display panel carrying out PWM drive of a driving transistor.

The driving transistor 2 allows a current corresponding to the gate voltage, to flow, and the current is supplied to a light emitting element 1 to emit light. One end of holding capacity 6 with the other end connected to a sweep line is connected to a gate of the driving transistor 2. The sweep line 12 is supplied with triangular waves that repeat upward phases and downward phases alternately. The ON period of the driving transistor 2 is thereby controlled according to the gate voltage to control the light emission of the light emitting element 1.
