PURPOSE: To display guidance the information for the instruction of an input, on a display part for key input information, by storing desired guidance information for the instruction of an input, in advance in a fixed memory.
CONSTITUTION: When a desired slip format is selected by a keyboard 14, a format controlling circuit 20 reads out a line format from a memory 10 in accordance with the slip format concerned. Subsequently, guidance information registered in advance is read out from the memory 10, and the guidance information corresponding to the first field is displayed on a display device 30. When a key is inputted in accordance with this display, the guidance information is erased from display, instead of which an input data is displayed on the display device 30. When a data input of 1-line portion has ended, the input data display is erased by operating a specific key, and the input data of said 1-line portion is stored in a prescribed area of a data memory 12 through a transfer controlling circuit 24.
