Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain a communication load when displaying on an other display device an image corresponding to a search result selected at one display device.SOLUTION: Display devices 10A and 10B store the same document. When keyword search in a document is performed at the display device 10A, a list of the search results is displayed on the display device 10A. When any of the search results in the displayed list is selected, the display device 10A transmits positional information identifying a part corresponding to the selected search result to the display device 10B. The positional information includes identification information on the document, a page number of the document, and the keyword. The display device 10B identifies a page to be displayed in the document by using the positional information transmitted by the display device 10A, and displays an image of the identified page such that the keyword will be clearly expressed on the identified page.
