Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely improve visibility without being affected by brightness of surroundings, and without increasing power consumption.SOLUTION: A display system 1 has: a coherent light source 6 that emits coherent light; an optical element 5 that diffuses the coherent light; an optical scanning member 7 that scans the coherent light on the optical element; an optical modulator 3 that receives illumination light by the coherent light diffused by the optical element to create a modulation image; and observation tool 21 that visually recognizes the modulation image. The observation tool has a wavelength selection filter in which transmittance of a wavelength region of the coherent light included in the illumination light is higher than that of a wavelength region other than the coherent light.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
