Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve quality and reliability of a display tube used for a light source by stabilizing electrical connectability between an Al metal back film and an anode over a long period of time.
CONSTITUTION: The structure of an anode electrode for supplying high voltage to an Al metal back film 6 contributing to the light emission of a fluorescent screen is formed with a depression 9 provided in the inner surface of a front glass 2 to extend the Al metal back film 6 within the depression 9. A conductive bonding material 11 is placed within the depression 9 in which the Al metal back film 6 is formed and at the same time one end side of a contact piece 10 is fixedly arranged with the conductive bonding material 11, and the other end side thereof is so constituted as to come into elastic contact with an anode 7. Thereby, the sure and stable continuity of electricity can be obtained between the Al, metal back film 6 and the anode 7.
