Title:
EXCAVATING ROD CLAMP MECHANISM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3165975
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PURPOSE: To clamp a rod aligned with a drilling center by holding the excavating rod, with a clamp piece to be advanced with a cylinder and a clamp piece to be advanced with a clamp arm.
CONSTITUTION: At the tip of a cylinder tube 5, a clamp piece is set, and by a cylinder 1, the clamp piece and a cam 4 are integrally moved forward or backward. In its case, together with the clamp piece, the cam 4 is advanced, and the rollers 11, 12 of clamp arms 6, 7 are attracted with a spring 13 and are pressed to be brought in contact with the guide surface of the cam 4. After that, the clamp arms 6, 7 are rotationally moved with the centers of respective pins 8, to be confronted with each other, and by clamp pieces 9, 10, an excavating rod R is pressed. Then, with the clamp piece advanced by the cylinder 1 and the clamp pieces 9, 10 advanced with the rotational movement of the clamp arm 6, 7, the rod R is held from the three directions and is clamped. As a result, at the added position of a hole excavating device, the rod R is clamped and can be easily jointed to, with safety.
