Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable container which is applicable to microwave treatment and conformable to contact with food.
SOLUTION: A product which is produced from polyolefin selected from a group consisting of a group of polypropylene, a propylene-ethylene copolymer, a mixture of polypropylene and polyethylene, and a mixture of these and mica and thermoformed in the shape of a container which indicates a fine particle surface at least on one side of the surface and a melting point of approximately at least 250°F. The container is stable dimensionally to at least 250°F and resistant to oil, fat, sugar, and water and has a strength to withstand cutting by saw-tooth-shaped polystyrene tableware.
