To provide a disposable diaper usable as a pants type diaper as well as a development type diaper, preventing unintended opening of a part disposed in the belly side and having high freedom degree of size adjustment.
This disposable diaper is provided with a central part 31 positioned between a pair of guide break lines 33 and outer parts 34 connected to the central part 31 via the guide break lines 33, the outer parts 34 are provided with fastening tapes 5 having locking part, the fastening tapes 5 are folded in the inner face sides 34 of the outer parts and having the locking parts facing the inner faces of the outer parts 34, the outer parts 34 are separable from the central part 31 by breaking of the guide break lines 33, and the fastening tapes 5 can be extended outward from the edges formed by the separation between the outer parts 34 and the central part 42.
