To provide a disposable diaper which makes soft excretion easily treated in disposal, does not adhere soft excretion onto skin in use, and prevents leaking, by placing an absorptive body on an area from the crotch part to the front body part and a detachable excretion treating sheet with an upright dam on the periphery of the rear body part, and placing a string to contract the dam by pulling onto the dam top part.
An liquid retaining absorptive body 10 is put in between a liquid permeable top sheet and a liquid impermeable back sheet on an area from the crotch part to the front body part 2 of this disposable diaper 1. An excretion treating sheet 5 is detachably placed on the area from the crotch part to the rear body part 3. The periphery part of the excretion treating sheet 5 is erected upward to form a dam 6. A water absorptive contractive string 7 is placed on the top of the dam 6. When the string 7 is pulled, the top of the dam 6 is contracted to prevent excretion from scattering and to release the excretion treating sheet 5, and also is contracted by contacting with water to contract the dam 6. Thus soft excretion treating in disposal of the disposable diaper 1 is made easier to enable to prevent soft excretion from adhering on skin.
