Abstract:
To provide a device and a method for dissolving a solid bactericide capable of preventing the solid bactericide stored in a hopper from rising in temperature to an unfavorable level or higher during stored in the hopper.SOLUTION: The device for dissolving a solid bactericide includes a hopper 2 for storing a solid bactericide, a feeder 3 for receiving the solid bactericide from the hopper to segment it, and a mixing tank 4 for mixing the solid bactericide segmented from the feeder with clean water fed from a clean water supply line 8 to prepare a mixed liquid; the hopper 2 is provided with a thermometer 2A for measuring temperature of the solid bactericide in the hopper and connected to a solid bactericide storage device 1B for storing the solid bactericide partially withdrawn from the hopper; and the solid bactericide storage device 1B includes a storage container 9 having a smaller storage volume than that of the hopper, an extraction pipe 10 connecting the hopper with the storage container via an on-off valve 11, and a suction device 13 for sucking the solid bactericide in the hopper to draw it out to the storage container.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
