Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a melting feeder of a metallic material capable of supplying high quality of molten metal precisely in a simple construction, and a pressure reducing casting apparatus using it.SOLUTION: In the melting feeder of the metallic material including a housing 4 fixed on a side face of an injection sleeve 22, a crucible pot 5 for melting a metal which is housed in the housing 4 and in which a molten metal pouring hole 52 opened on a lower end is connected with a molten metal supplying hole 24, a metallic material feeder 6 supplying a metallic material 10 to the crucible pot 5 for melting the material, a heating melting device 7 melting the metallic material 10 supplied to the crucible pot 5 for melting the metal in a metallic material feeder 6 by induction heating and a molten metal pouring hole opening/closing device 8 arranged to be capable of moving vertically in the housing 4 and provided with an opening/closing rod 80 which closes the molten metal pouring hole 52 of the crucible pot 5 for melting the metal on the end, it supplies an amount of molten metal 11 needed to casting per one time at a die cast machine 2 by moving the opening/closing rod 80 of the molten metal pouring hole opening/closing device 8 upwards and then opening the molten metal pouring hole 52 of the crucible pot 5 for melting the metal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
