Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid chlorine-based agent dissolution device which can reduce adverse effect on the external and corrosion of peripheral equipment due to chlorine gas.SOLUTION: This dissolution device has: a hopper 2 which accommodates a solid chlorine-based agent; a feeder 3 which receives the solid chlorine-based agent from the hopper 2 and cuts out the same; a mixing tank 5 which receives supply of the solid chlorine-based agent cut out from the feeder 3 and fresh water from a fresh water supply line 8, mixes the solid chlorine-based agent and fresh water thereby producing a mixed liquid; a purge air supply mechanism 11 which supplies purge air to the mixing tank 5; and an air vent 12 which discharges purge air from the mixing tank 5. The air vent 12 has an active carbon adsorbent which adsorbs and removes chlorine gas, which is generated in the mixing tank 5 and is contained in purge air, from said purge air.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
