To provide a dissolving device, in which quality deterioration caused by vapor or attachment of splash generated when a furnace main body is inclined to discharge molten metal is prevented without complicating the apparatus.
This dissolving device comprises a containing tank 1 to make a processing environment inside that is different from an outside environment, a dissolving mechanism 2 fixed in the containing tank, with an upper surface opened, to contain material 30 while heating and dissolving it, a containing tank supporting mechanism (a containing tank frame 91, a rotation support part 11b, a rotation cylinder 72, etc.), to rotatably support the containing tank between an inclined attitude and a vertical attitude, and a discharge part 25 to discharge the molten metal from the dissolving mechanism out of the containing tank. Distance from the dissolving mechanism to a cover body 12 can thus be elongated, so that vapor or splashes are not attached, and that quality deterioration is restricted.
