PURPOSE: To provide a method for exactly distinguishing various conditions of the water from the medium such as the air and the water where a sensor is installed, detecting the partial change of the water condition in a measurement area of the sensor device, and continuously checking the order of the operation of the sensor device.
CONSTITUTION: This is relating to a sensor device for distinguishing the various conditions of the water on a surface of a structure 1. The sensor device comprises at least a longitudinal sensor element 2 formed by a material which propagates the acoustic oscillation, and a transceiver unit 3 with which the both ends of the sensor element 2 are connected, and which sends the acoustic oscillation, particularly the oscillation in an ultrasonic area, to the sensor element 2, and receives the response of the sent oscillation. The transceiver unit 3 sends the oscillation, and receives the response of the oscillation sent from the both ends 6, 7 of the sensor element 2.
