The distributed data archive apparatus 10 having a function for distributing and storing a file F to be stored into/in a plurality of data servers 30a, 30b, 30c allowed to be accessed through a network 20 and a function for extracting the stored data is provided with: a throughput measuring means 11 for measuring the throughput of the network for accessing respective data servers 30a, 30b, 30c; a dividing/encrypting means 12 for dividing and encrypting the file F to be stored on the basis of the measured value of the throughput measuring means 11; a decrypting/integrating means 13 for integrating and decrypting the divided files on the basis of management data; a data management means 14 for preparing and reading out the management data; a storage means 15 for storing the management data; and a network communication means 16 for transferring and reading out respective divided files.
