Abstract:
To provide a distributed information creating apparatus and the like capable of high-speed operation by using XOR and capable of constituting a general (k, n) threshold secret sharing scheme.
(k) pieces of distributed information are divided into k(np-1) pieces (npis a prime number satisfying np≥n with respect to a distribution number n) of partial distributed information, and the divided partial distributed information is transformed into vector representation. Then, based on the transformed vector, a matrix is created and, with respect to the created matrix, combinations of exclusive OR (XOR) operations of the partial distributed information are obtained by a matrix operation. The obtained combinations of XOR operations are applied to the partial distributed information to restore the partial secret information, and the original secret information K is formed by linking the restored partial secret information.
