Abstract:

PURPOSE: To reconstitute finishing option at a working site without correcting a copying machine/printer by furnishing a means to carry out working at a second repeating time interval by receiving a preparation finished status signal from each of a specified number of image processing sorces.
CONSTITUTION: A typical universal distributed job scheduling system is furnished with each of components, an image formation device 214, a marker 216, a feeder 218 and a finishing device 220 reciprocally connected to a scheduler 212 by communication lines 215, 217, 219, 221. Thereafter, when all of each of the components commit, scheduling of sheets for the finishing device 220 is carried out when the copying sheets of an image developed by the marker 216 are supplied to the finishing device 220 from the feeder 218 by description 222 of a job which the scheduler 212 receives. When even one of them cannot be committed, a pitch to be skipped at mechanical timing is inserted, and scheduling is delayed until all of them are committed.
