Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a delivery system which can deliver a cargo quickly and efficiently.SOLUTION: The delivery system comprises: a delivery vehicle on which delivery boxes to be delivered to a delivery destination can be loaded; and a mother vehicle on which the delivery vehicle is loaded. The mother vehicle stores the plurality of delivery boxes, and includes an automatic depository which stores the plurality of delivery boxes, and a control portion which controls the automatic depository so that the delivery boxes are arranged at a receiving/storing position at which the delivery vehicle can receive the delivery boxes, until the delivery boxes are unloaded from the delivery vehicle at a relay point on a delivery route from a delivery origin to the delivery destination. When the delivery vehicle on which the delivery boxes to be delivered to the delivery destination are loaded arrives at the relay point corresponding to the delivery destination, the delivery boxes are unloaded from the vehicle, and then the delivery vehicle receives the delivery boxes arranged at the receiving/storing position and loads the boxes thereon, and travels on the delivery route from the relay point to the delivery destination and delivers the delivery boxes loaded on the delivery vehicle to the delivery destination.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
