To effect auxiliary injection and main injection through a single injection pump, to reduce discharge of a nitrogen oxide through improvement of combustion, and to reduce size and weight.
This device relates to an inner cam type distribution type fuel injection pump to effect regulation of the fuel injection timing of an injection pump by a cam ring 31 having cam parts 32 formed at equal pitches. The cam ring 31 internally wraps a rotor comprising a pair of main cylinder holes 18a and 18a having main plungers 27a and rollers 28; and a pair of auxiliary cylinder holes 18b and 18b having auxiliary plungers 27b, having diameters smaller than those of the main cylinder holes 18a and 18a, and the rollers 28. The auxiliary cylinder holes 18b and 18b and the main cylinder holes 18a and 18a are caused to cross each other at an angle at which after fuel is fed with a pressure from the auxiliary cylinder holes 18b and 18b, fuel through the main cylinder holes 18a and 18a is fed with a pressure.
