PURPOSE: To produce in a fluidized bed a flow with a greater effect for recovery of heat by forming in the distributor a multiplicity of first holes each directing ejected hot gas in one sideward direction and a multiplicity of second holes each directing ejected hot gas in another sideward direction contrary thereto in a mixed arrangement of the holes.
CONSTITUTION: In a distributor 11 holes are formed in an arrangement having a first hole 12 and a second hole 16 in a pair and in a manner of one facing the other so as to make the ejected hot gas from one collide with the ejected hot gas from the other. This pair 20 is put in a row of many like pairs arranged in a straight line and this row is put in a parallel arrangement with many like rows so as to have the like holes 12, 16 in two adjacent rows in a zigzag pattern. Jets of hot gas ejected sideways from mutually adjacent holes 12, 16 in a row collide immediately with each other as they flow slantingly upward. The collision takes place at every pair 20 of holes 12, 16 and in the adjacent rows in a zigzag pattern, so that the flows of hot gas are diverted at many spots and collision occurs among such diverted flows.
