Abstract:
NEW MATERIAL:The thiazine derivative of formula I [R is 1W8C alkyl, 2W4C alkenyl, 4W6C alkynyl, 3W6C cycloalkyl, 3W8C alkoxycarbonylalkyl, 7W9C bis(alkoxycarbonyl)alkyl, phenyl which may have 1W2 substituent groups (halogen, lower alkyl, lower alkoxy or CF3), aralkyl which may have 1W2 substituent groups (halogen or lower alkyl), α-alkoxycarbonylbenzyl, or pyridyl which may have halogen as substituent group; R1 is CN or COOR2 (R2 is lower alkyl or allyl)].
EXAMPLE: 2-Dicyanomethylene-5-methyl-5,6-dihydro-4H-1,3,5-dithiazin-4-one.
USE: An agricultural and horticultural fungicide.
PREPARATION: The compound of formula I can be prepared easily by reacting the compound of formula II with the compound of formula III (M is alkali metal).
