PURPOSE: To attain an excellent diversity reception even if a disturbing wave such as multipath exists, by providing a reception level averaging circuit.

CONSTITUTION: A timing circuit 8A switches the 1st antenna 1 and the 2nd antenna 2 and holds a reception level at sampling and holding circuits 9, 10 from a receiver 4 via the receiving level averaging circuit 13. The holding level is compared by a comparison circuit 11 and its output is given to a driving circuit so as to a select antenna of high receiving level. The receiving level averaging circuit 13 obtains a signal from a receiving level detecting terminal 6, shares the signal into two; one is regarded as a level corresponding to the re- ceiving level of the antenna connected at present via an integrating circuit, and the other signal is regarded as a level corresponding to the receiving level of the other antenna when the antenna is changed over with the time division switching, and they are synthesized through switching to form a receiving level detecting signal.
