Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the diversity reception equipment which obtains a composite signal where the noise level, the level ratio, and the extent or waveform distortion or a reception signal are allowed for and the signal quality is good.
CONSTITUTION: A reception circuit 2a, a variable amplifier 4a, a branching device 5a, and a variable attenuator 6a generate a signal S6a to be composed in response to a reception signal S2a, and a reception circuit 2b, a variable amplifier 4b, a branching device 5b, and a variable attenuator 6b generate a signal S6b to be composed in response to a reception signal S2b. A synthesizer 12 synthesizes signals S2a and S2b to be composed with the same phase to generate a composite signal S12. An attenuator control part on controls levels of signals S6a and S6b to be composed in response to levels C1 and C2 of reception signals S1a and S1b obtained from detectors 8a and 8b, a level ratio C2/C1, and extents of waveform distortion of reception signals S1a and S1b obtained from distortion detectors 9a and 9b.
