Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diversity transmitter capable of efficiently transmitting a radio signal in a specific small power radio system.SOLUTION: The diversity transmitter performs radio communication which requires first carrier sense for a first time or longer before radio wave transmission, and requires second carrier sense for a third time, which is shorter than the first time, or longer during a time from the start of the radio wave transmission after the first carrier sense to the lapse of a second time, before the retransmission of the radio wave. The diversity transmitter includes a first transmitter unit which transmits a radio wave, a second transmitter unit which transmits a radio wave, and a transmission control unit. Before causing the first transmitter to start data signal transmission, the transmission control unit controls both of the first transmitter unit and the second transmitter unit to execute the first carrier sense. Further, after the first transmitter and the second transmitter complete the first carrier sense, the transmission control unit controls the first transmitter unit to start the transmission of a data signal, and also controls the second transmitter unit to start the transmission of a dummy signal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
