Title:
DNA PROBE ARRAY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3944996
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a probe array for detecting many kinds of DNAs by immobilizing many kinds of arbitrary DNA probes.
SOLUTION: The probe array 4 obtained by arranging particles (prove particles) 1 having various probes 2 immobilized thereon in a constant order is used. The probe array 4 obtained by arranging the various particles 1 always in a constant order is made by arranging plural thin tubes or grooves filled with the prove particles in parallel to each other and subsequently individually injecting the particles from the thin tubes or grooves into another fine tube or groove. The many kinds of probes are thus bound to the particles having different diameters and enable the simultaneous measurement of many kinds of fluorescent light-labeled DNAs. Thereby, the array having various kinds of the DNA probes immobilized thereon can simply be prepared.
