Title:
DOBBY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3425983
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To assuredly prevent misweaving by electromagnetically controlling the action of a dobby to put heddle frame to selective vertical motion.
CONSTITUTION: A rocking lever 38 is equipped with upper and lower knife hooks 16 energized with respective elastic bodies 52 individually correspondingly to a pair of connecting levers 14 pivoted on the upper and lower sites of a vertical lever 12 linked via a jack lever 26 to a heddle frame, and a pair of instruction levers 18 mutually connected through the elastic bodies 52 individually correspondingly to the hooks 16 are arranged, and also, a pusher 20 to displace the instruction levers 18 and a selective lever 22 energized with an elastic body 60 to displace said pusher 20 are provided to reduce the impact due to the displacement of the pusher 20 and a magnet 24 is provided so as to releasably attract the selective lever 22, thus making up an action mechanism 10 for dobby. Depending on whether a picking signal in operating a loom represents an instruction meaning electric current injection into the magnet 24, it is selected whether the knife hooks 16 take such a position as to be linkable or non-linkable to the connecting levers 14, thus controlling the vertical motion of the heddle frame.
