Abstract:
To provide a doctor blade for hydro-extraction made by impregnating a fibrous laminate with a resin and improving its water-scraping function on a grooved mating member.
The doctor blade 10b (10c) for hydro-extraction is made by impregnating the fibrous laminate 50 with the resin. In this doctor blade, at least the fibers of the layer in contact with a mating member (elastic belt) B are oriented in the advancing direction of the mating member B. This doctor blade contacts firmly with the mating member B, reducing abrasion, and the fibers go into a groove of the mating member B, efficiently scraping out the water in the groove.
