Title:
DOCTOR BLADE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS58102767
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To inhibit the generation of a plate fog phenomenon especially when water printing ink is used while improving rust preventive property and abrasion resistance by working the doctor blade in gravure and flexography printing by fluoroplastics.

CONSTITUTION: The doctor blade in gravure and flexography printing is worked by fluoroplastics (such as polytetrafluoroethylene). Rust preventive property and abrasion resistance and improved, the abrasion of a gravure printing plate and an anilox roll is also reduced, service life is largely lengthened, and the scraping effect of the doctor blade is also improved. The doctor blade is effective even when organic solvent type printing ink is used, but it has an effect inhibiting the generation of the plate fog phenomenon especially when water printing ink is employed.
