Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a doctor device for a dryer roll capable of performing the recovery treatment easily when a paper bites into a tip of the doctor blade.
SOLUTION: This doctor blade device 11 for a dryer roll is equipped with an air blowing device 30 for blowing air to the part of a doctor blade 13 in down stream side of the rotating direction. In the case of biting a paper into the tip of the doctor blade, when the doctor blade 13 is released from the roll surface 2a by stopping the rotation of the roll 2, the paper P is blown up in an up stream side of the rotating direction of the roll by an air flow and is prevented from invading and hanging down into the doctor pack 15 side. Also, a paper dust, etc., on the roll surface are removed by the air flow. Thus, it becomes possible to perform a recovery process in the case of biting the paper into the tip of the doctor blade, simply and in a good efficiency.
