Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To permit the ensuring of ink scraping function of a doctor blade by a method wherein the lateral sliding of the doctor blade is eliminated to obtain a simple constitution and provide a self lubricating function due to vibration.
SOLUTION: In a doctor device for scraping excessive ink off by thrusting the tip end of a doctor blade 4 against a gravure printing roll 3, the sectional shape of tip end of doctor blade 4 is configured so as to be a semi-circular shape and the doctor blade 4 is constituted so that the thrusting condition of the doctor blade 4 against the gravure printing roll 3 is changed slowly into the tilting direction by an electrostrictive actuator 6 during printing.
