To obtain a doctor holder excellent in maintainability by pressing one end of a presser against a doctor holder body or releasing therefrom with a supporting member as a fulcrum, thereby facilitating removal of a doctor blade.

A presser 4 has one end A for pressing a doctor blade 2 and a back plate 3 against the doctor holder body 1 and the other end B for defining an interval to the doctor holder body 1 through a fixing member 7. Since the fixing member 7 is a partially flat deformed columnar rod, the end 13 of the presser 4 is shifted when the fixing member 7 is turned about the axis by operating a fixed lever 8 and thereby the end A of the presser 4 is shifted with a supporting member 5 as a fulcrum. When it is shifted to enlarge the interval to the doctor holder body 1, the doctor blade 2 and the back plate 3 are fixed to the doctor body 1 while being pressed. Otherwise, the pressing force is released and the doctor blade 2 is removed.
