Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a doctor for removing refuses capable of scraping off and removing foreign materials sticking to surfaces of various rolls of a papermaking machine without damaging the roll surfaces by attaching and fixing a platy unit, composed of a zirconia ceramic and having a land part to the tip of a metallic plate.
SOLUTION: This doctor 1 is obtained by fixing a platy unit 3, composed of a flat surface having 0.03-1.0 mm width or a curved surface having 0.03-1.0 mm curvature radius and having a land part 30 with the chamfered tip in a continuous length to the tip of a metallic plate 2 and forming the doctor 1 for removing refuses having 20-75° included angle in the land part 30. The resultant doctor 1 for removing the refuses is used to scrape off and remove foreign materials 11 such as a stock, a liquid or a dust sticking to the surfaces of various rolls 10 used for pressurizing or drying a paper or conveying the paper while regulating the thickness thereof in a papermaking machine.
