To prevent a discharge document from getting into a paper feeding port to discriminate between this discharge document and a paper feed document without complicating a device structure by setting a retreative path of a claw part at the tip of a paper refeed preventing member to the more inside than the external form of an edge part in this paper refeed preventing member.
A paper refeed preventing member 82 is composed of a nearly L-shaped level, and it is rotatably installed in space between an operating position pressing the top face of a paperfeed document and an upper retreative position with a fulcrum shaft 97 as the center. Then, a tip of this paper refeed preventing member 82 is provided with a claw part 99 by means of forming a V-shaped notch 98 there. A retreative path centering on the fulcrum shaft 97 at the tip of this claw part 99 is in the more inner part than an outer edge form of the paper refeed preventing member 82. An angle γ in the document conveying direction to the paper feed document at an upper edge of the claw part 99 of the member 82 becomes less than 90 degrees. With this, attending upon the paper feed document fed, paper refeeding is surely prevented from occurring without making the discharge paper document slip out of the paper refeed preventing member 82 surely.
